FemDom performance

Yesterday I went to see a theater play you all know, but no, it’s not the new film by Polanski, that I saw a few months ago and I recommend it if you have not seen, I love how he captures the essence of the psychological Domination Vanda submits severin from the first moment with an unexpected start.

But today I talk about the theater play with the same title, Venus in Furs, performed by Clara Lago and Diego Martin, under the direction of David Serrano, whom you can see in the picture with me.

This work is the American playwright David Ives, in which Polanski based his film, ie, not a representation of Sacher-Masoch book, but a version/adaptation of the play by David Ives in Spanish.

The performance was good, there were sublime moments in interpreting of the actors (both), but the most original was that, once finished, the actors met with the public and had a chat with us, where we could make some other question to the actors and the director.

I don’t agree with what was exposed about the movie, but it is clear that we (I extend this ‘we’ both, to me and for you that visit my blog) we live and feel, what Diego, Clara and David do is interpretation.

And maybe that’s the quiz of all and why I applaud this performance, that actors unrelated to BDSM and FemDom get catch the attention of the public and stage a seemingly natural way of things that are everyday for us is, for me, the best flattery. Although, in the subsequent talk, I have to say they don’t capture all what Domination and submission mean, very understandable on the other hand.

Go and see them if you get the chance, they are in Legazpi (Madrid) each afternoon/evening. You’ll have a good time.
